Where to begin? Of course, I must start with my wife who has put up with me for 4 years in regards to this novel:
“You know, Lorraine, maybe I should write a book; I always enjoyed storytelling. Oh, but I don’t know if I have the time” … “It’s finally done, but I have no idea how to market it” … “I’m not sure how to handle the cover art; my style may be too cartoony …” Thank you, Mrs. Bianco for all of your patience, love and support.
Thanks to all of my friends and family who read this novel in previous drafts and shared their honest feedback and concerns. It was truly helpful in crafting this final version.
I must thank the skillful Debra Krassner for sharing her writing talent in editing this novel, thus reminding me of the proper function of a conjunction (see School House Rock). She saved me from a lot of embarrassing grammatical errors.
Four years of thanks go to my daughter, Brianna, who is a constant reminder to me that although reality can be a lovely place to live, you will find no more joy and wonder in life than visiting your own imagination.
